I have still not gotten over the fact that Maria Grazia Chiuri left Valentino over a year ago, however I have to admit she is doing quite an amazing job at Dior. Its been a slow build up and some times I still see traces of her design aesthetic at Valentino. As always her major strength is in the theme and the show she puts on. For Spring Couture 2018, it was a Chess board theme which followed on from her Pre-Fall 2018 collection for the heritage brand. The pieces that caught my eyes were the lattice cut and tuxedo inspired pieces. All in All Maria presented a collection to remember and I can imagine the orders ringing in for these pieces. Check out all my favourite pieces from the Dior spring couture 2018!x
