Happy Valentine’s everyone!. The mashup of red and fuschia has to be my favourite hue combination of all time and it only seemed right to wear an outfit with these colours for a valentines themed post.

While designing an outfit, the fabric type and colour usually dictate the aesthetic and design of the outfit for me and when I spotted a pile of amazing crepe fabric in both fuschia and red colours while fabric shopping last week, it immediately sprang to my mind that they were perfect for creating a two toned dress.

Being pear shaped, my greatest challenge is creating a balance between my arms, torso and lower body so I went for a dress which would elongate and streamline my body visually.

I cojoined both fabrics with spiral shapes which I cut with a free hand technique right in the middle of my torso to accentuate my curves and balance out both my top and lower halves.  To finish off the look, I went with nude Valentino rockstuds and went light in the accessories with a mini bag by Gucci ❣️💕
