What’s Spring without a signature dress? . Its taken me about a month to adjust to the new season (lets blame the British weather for taking its sweet time to get warmer lol). This past week, the sun came out in all its glory and it was the perfect signal  for my Spring dress to make an outing.

The season always comes with an array of styles some of which I spoke about in this post , think Polka dots, florals, striped, prints…the options are endless. With a long season ahead, I am looking forward to experimenting with the various styles while kicking it off with multi prints. I love the process of mixing and matching prints which I ideally wouldn’t.

While designing and constructing this dress, I decided on ruffles as the vantage point and also as the detail which would seamlessly merge the varying prints. To finish off the look, I went with Fringe detailed sandals, a classic Bamboo bag and oversized sunnies. While I have experimented with multi prints via a dress, you can take a bold step by layering a printed dress with a pair of printed pants you never thought would match or throw on a printed pair of pants/ skirt with a mismatched printed top. The trick is to wear them with accessories which would tie up the look. Here’s to making bold style choices all Spring ’19 x
